I think Basterds was his first movie that casually re-wrote history, which threw off the movie’s tone for me. Like a historical “what if” movie. And every movie he’s done since then has the same feel to me now.
This is the key to this article. Trump’s still butthurt that a black man was ever president.
Would you prefer to work for a company that doesn’t seem to care if you’ve met your basic needs for existence?
Time to look for a new job, imo. I know its easy to say from the outside, but I hope you’re able to find a solution that doesn’t ask you to compromize your living standards for money.
Yeah it’s been hard to parse what his actual goal was. Like, you want to wake people up. To what, exactly? I can make assumptions, but haven’t seen facts outlining this yet. It sure sounds like he was in a really bad place mentally though.
