Ad revenue is like crack to corporations. I think Google needs an intervention.

The problem is that ad revenue brings in more money than subscription models ever can. So they’re either super expensive because the company is accustomed to the high profits of ads, OR they inevitably end up slipping ads into the paids versions too.

Youtube has become this venus fly trap where content creators get exploited. They exist on the site solely to draw in viewers to show ads to. YouTube doesn’t really care about the content or their creators(they don’t care about paying them either since there’s endless accounts) their primary function is to sell ads. That’s it.

With data harvesting and personalized ads they basically print money for themselves. Now each ad spot will show something different to each person, meaning they are getting paid by multiple(potentially hundreds or thousands) of companies for each available ad location. They don’t care if you buy the product because they got paid the second that ad popped up on your screen.

Ad based revenue is creating a huge fucking mess for everyone.

I dont know why people do shit like this. Find some rare, finite resource of information and do just about everything with them except study them respectfully. Eat them, grind them into paint, rich people having “unwrapping parties.”

Humans are so deeply disappointing.

They know if they do that people will just disable their cameras or put tape over it like they already do. If they make it so you can’t disable the camera without losing functionality then people won’t buy the product.

If they try to push it by making a gentleman’s agreement with their competitors to make all tvs or phones use camera eye contact during ads well have to have fight back with more ad blockers and such.

I’m pretty sure women don’t want to date people who have any sort of disposition that leans towards hating them or believing that women are lesser than men.

Unfortunately, a lot of men learned that way of thinking early in life(from family and/or media) and it ruins any attempt at a relationship, then they blame women and run to the very people who set them up to fail for validation, or find new ones like that sex trafficker with the pizza boxes, or that canadian psychologist who sugar coats sexism online. Repeat ad nauseum.

The mail carriers didn’t do anything wrong, why would I send something through the mail that could completely ruin their day?

I’m looking to offend that rich cunt, not some poor worker who has to clean up a package full of shit if it gets destroyed in transit. Plus, mailing a piece of paper with a drawing of shit is far cheaper than mailing a box.

Honestly I have no idea and just kinda posted that without thinking too far ahead, not even sure if it was a good idea or if it would get any traction. I’m excited that there’s at least some interest!

Everyone should send these shitty people drawings of poop. Good ones, bad ones. Whatever your drawing level… draw a poop, lable it with “poop” if youre not sure theyll get it and send it. That should get across that we collectively think they are shit.

These types of assholes usually have po box for their businesses at the very least. On their website they typically have some sort of mailing address under “contact us.”

If we can get inundated with junk mail everyday from shitty businesses advertising I think we can return the favor on this one.

Depending on location, it’s too freaking hot to be doing yard work anytime past 11 in the summer months. 9 - 11am is usually when I get my shit done.

Then again, with my neighbors have a similar work schedule to me, so I guess I’m not bothering anyone.

Actually a lot of organic farms rely on blood and bone meal, manure and fish emulsion fertilizers. They’re inexpensive as they’re byproducts of other industries and are very good for plants.
When I worked in an organic greenhouse I often wondered about how vegans would feel about farmers using animal based fertilizers. We definitely told people what we used, as we sold those products, but no one ever said anything about it. I guess vegans can’t control that so maybe it’s a nonissue unless they grow their own food and use seaweed based fertilizer(more expensive) instead?

Just don’t grow mushrooms or potatoes in billionaire compost. They have a tendency to uptake heavy metals from their nutrient source, and no one wants lead in their mushroom soup or mashed potatoes.

I just wanted to add that I’m pretty sure Trump is jealous that Putin has something that he doesn’t… owning an entire country.

He wants to be like Putin and Kim Jong Un and is playing some warped version of “keeping up with the Joneses” to the detriment of our entire country. It’s a disgusting display of self absorption I never thought possible.
