Philips Ambilight 55PUS8109 4K LED Smart TV
Runs on TitanOS
Upvote because it made me angry.
I’ve come to the point where at least some people come to me for advice on buying electronics.
Girl friend asked me for a TV to connect with her PlayStation, not that expensive, 4K/60 and low input delay for casual gaming, and it should last for at least 10 years and should be cheap. Long story short, I got her a 4K/60fps TV with a gaming mode that has like 2~3ms delay for € 550. It‘s a dumb Philips TV running Linux, so no google play and you can remove all spyware. It has apps, but she got the PS to do all of this anyway.
Did you play Sir Whoopass on Steam/GoG?
Sadly, there are probably only 5 PS5 exclusives that got no PS4 release… I’ve got one too, I like it, but I think other than Astros Playroom, Spiderman, god of war, final Fantasy 16 and 7-2, there isn’t a single exclusive title.
If I recall correctly, there isn‘t even a single procedural generated game, no?
Edit: made by Nintendo
I love the Pokémon franchise, even grew up with it. And Palworld was just a way better experience than let’s say Scarlet and Violet.
Yes, it was made for PC, which is way more powerful than the switch, yet it ran perfectly fine with ~50 fps on high on my 10 year old PC, while the switch struggles to keep 30.
Granted, a lot of the monsters look like amalgamates of 2-3 Pokémon - but they looked good, like Katress, that fire-gyrados, even that Dragonite-Goodra-Altaria mix looks good IMO.
The world was generic, but unique enough to be explored - and it is too big for the amount of Pals that existed.
I had fun with Pokémon as well, but I only got to play the DLC after I finished Palworld. I did not catch the legendary turtle as of writing this comment because the game is just… boringly slow.
Understandable. It’s definitely possible to use any other cloud service for the saves. Maybe they’ll have some paid save service in the future - I don’t like this, but considering corporate greed in this equation…
But… AI is stupid. I mean it really is dumb. And on top of that, it’s just an amalgamation of things fed to it which in itself is nothing bad, but it limits itself massively when combining things.
Become vegan and start cooking with only a cast iron skillet.
If it’s germany, if one of you lives in the north and the other in the south, it’s cheaper to fly to Mallorca and meet there.
I’ve always been a fan of used physical copies. Don’t wanna play GameX on day one because the last time CompanyB released a game it was good but only after updating a couple of GB? Wait a year and get that game used for cheaper than a meal.
Unless it’s Nintendo.
This definitely has something to do with their next console. I bet my nipples that it‘ll be so similar to the switch that an existing Yuzu would be capable enough to emulate / hack that new console within a day or a week.
So they’re taking it all down while it’s unreleased to make sure they cash out on all the consoles from the get-go.
As someone who 100%ed it on Wii U and Switch (DLCs included) I do not agree with you
Ah okay. So no refund or re-wind if my account gets hacked and someone spends all my money. Because you know that’s blockchain
Oh poor bard‘s gonna be a racist imbecile MOFO
The iPhone has this feature implemented and I love it ever since
On Linux or Windows? Firefox + uBlock origin (there’s nothing better than that)
On Mac? Firefox + uBlock origin (worse alternative: Safari + AdGuard, since you might synch browser with iPhone)
On Android? Firefox + Privacy Badger + uBlock Origin
On iOS? Safari + AdGuard + Vinegar + Baking Soda
On SmartTV it’s different.
Hardest overall solution: Get yourself a Pi-Hole https://pi-hole.net/
For WebOS TVs use this: https://github.com/webosbrew/youtube-webos
Android TVs should get SmartTube: https://github.com/yuliskov/smarttube#smarttube-old-name-smarttubenext
RokuTVs got either this thing: https://channelstore.roku.com/en-ca/details/840aec36f51bfe6d96cf6db9055a372a/playlet or the open source alternative: https://github.com/iBicha/playlet
