I clench my jaw day and night, like constantly. Not intentionally, and I wear a mouthguard to protect my teeth at night, but I’m not really in control of the clenching and it causes downstream effects. Some mornings I can’t open my jaw all the way. I had the feeling of water trapped in my ear (I thought it was from using the pool at the gym), but the ENT told me it was from TMJ. At least a couple times a week I end up with a headache that starts in my jaw and teeth, radiates up my sinuses, and on really bad days, results in light sensitivity and blurred vision.

This movie sticks with me. Such a brutal, dark, nasty movie, and it made me realize Colin Ferrell had actual acting talent. I’d never seen him in anything before and had this impression that he was just a pretty boy, kinda like McConaughey used to be.

Like, I completely get why Colm wanted to cut Pádriac off, he was so dull. But he was also so open-hearted, and so I empathized with both characters.

When Pádraic follows the trail of fingers… you know the scene I mean. I lost it, just fucking bawled my eyes out. That movie pulled no punches. It was amazing but I never want to watch it again.

I don’t have sample exchanges at the ready, but I take issue with the gigantic stickers, the unwarranted confrontational tone, and the childish namecalling.

I watched A League of Their Own last week. Very watchable, not at all flashy, and refreshingly earnest. I hate that so many modern movies are so wised up and meta, and I find myself watching older movies more and more.

Recently it’s been Ghost, Bull Durham, Forrest Gump, and Field of Dreams. (I don’t even like baseball, no idea why so many of these are baseball movies!)

Yes! The fucking stickers are so annoying.

Setting aside the content of their comments, I have often found their commenting style to be obnoxious or rude. They’re free to do their thing of course, but since I’m not into it, I’ve blocked that instance. Over time I’ve seen fewer and fewer comments from hexbear users, and I imagine that’s because some instances have chosen to defederate from them.
