This is the year of the Linux desktop!
I’m also running an Ifixit battery and have had zero problems save for the original battery being DOA out of the box. 3 in a row is really bad luck.
Streisand effect for me. Never heard of this project until Nintendo caused a fuss.
Another vote for iPod with Rockbox installed.
