I don’t think that peasant economy was exploitative in the same way capitalism is. Peasants were largely farmers who grew food and provided the landowner with a percentage of their crop. They were integral to human survival and as far as I know the percentage taken by landowners was not comparable to the wealth extracted from workers today.

When you lower taxes for working class people they tend to spend more which contributes to inflation. Probably small businesses too. But if you lower taxes on the ultra wealthy and big business then I would agree that wouldn’t cause inflation because they would just keep that money and like you said that’s wealth redistribution, even if it is just making the rich richer.

When people pay more taxes they have less money to spend and they avoid purchases that they would have made otherwise.

But since before you were born people knew how long a woman’s menstrual cycle lasts. Most likely the Internet existed when you became an adult and thought about measuring things. The society you lived in had existing calendars that you were aware of if/when you had a menstrual cycle. You’ve never needed to “chart 28 days” but someone who lived long long ago may have wondered and they would have had no frame of reference so they decided to count.

I don’t understand how Israel can create this humanitarian crisis and then prevent aid from helping. I just went to Oxfam’s website to see what they are doing and where donations are going and they’ve only been able to provide about 6,000 food parcels because Israel won’t allow aid workers to have access. As human beings we have a moral obligation to save humans from dying needlessly but Israel is doing this on purpose. They don’t deserve this, it doesn’t make sense.

Politicians shouldn’t have to do any fundraising, or to be allowed to. They should be given a budget by the government.
