    That’s still not 270 in either direction, that would be a total of 540!! That’s seriously exorcist shit

      I know it’s not a scientific paper or anything, but a quick search led me to Smithsonian Magazine’s article:

      “Owls, on the other hand, can rotate their necks up to 270 degrees in either direction without damaging the vessels running below their heads…”
