Could Americans, just for once, take responsibility for their own shitty politicians and politics, rather than blaming it on foreigners? This “foreign agent” bullshit is basically the same kind of conspiracy theory scape goating that Republicans do with Qanon, and it’s bordering on fascistic in it’s attitude.
Saying that foreign agents control your politicians is far more damning of those politicians and your country than it is of the foreign agents. Foreign agents are supposed to try to influence the politicians, and the politicians are supposed to resist that influence. One group is doing their job, and the other isn’t.

For one thing, they didn’t say their politicians are controlled by foreign agents, they said that their politicians are foreign agents.
But either way, turning to conspiracy theories in order to blame domestic issues on foreign scapegoats is a fascist thing to do.
