You are probably right. I’m nowhere near experienced enough to know. I started using a new flavor that I enjoy and it turns out it’s a branch of debian (according to a friend).

Ubuntu allows users to do things. Debian GNOME made me feel locked up and restricted.
If you can install windows, you can install Linux. Easy distro are Ubuntu or maybe Mint. Medium may be fedora or something.
I might get hate but Fuck gnome and debian. Debian is solid af don’t get me wrong but Holy hell it feels like the Apple of Linux.
The reasons listed are things I can already do. I disable any bloat and white-list notifications.
Uh… Tux Racer if it’s still on there.
Yes, even just the first paragraph makes sense.
Staff members were told of GAME’s impending change to force staff onto zero hours contracts, first reported yesterday by Eurogamer, via mass video calls held on Microsoft Teams.
Wait… Wait… Is this just idiocracy? Like… We all joke, but now we have computers that will automatically lay off workers like in the movie?
Edge works better with specific vm coursework but not sure why. On Firefox I would press a key and it would input 0-2 times. On edge, it worked just… Normal. That’s the one up that edge has had for me.
Some people Firefox and some people just love to edge. They get close but don’t really get it all the way.

Awesome. We should be friends, we have so much in common. I’ll check it out. Thanks!
SwiftKey user here. Been around for 10+ years. Why did you switch to HeliBoard?
I’ve only recently threatened to take my own life due to spam. Never thought that’d be my 13th reason.
Wait I didn’t get it yet… Anyone theoretically know of another who knows another who may be able to send me a file related to or unrelated to the given subject?
I miss pidgin for the cross platform chat
I see what you’re saying. A similar comparison might be that that they don’t use discord just like how we are here on lemmy instead of reddit. I’m guessing reddit has the 90% of people still.
There are a lot of people out there who uphold privacy and security as their own personal tenets. Many ToS or privacy policies do not meet their standard and thus, many tech workers or tech savvy hate things like discord. To each their own. Try to understand why and look beyond the “discord bad” to learn more.
Does that count for when an OS is wiped and reinstalled or a nerd has like 3 computers and keeps OS flipping?
