I trim my cat’s nails because they fight sometimes and I don’t want anyone getting hurt. Also because I want them to be able to make biscuits on me if they want to without feeling like I’m getting stabbed.

My problem isn’t that they are long. My problem is they are sharp .
Two or more would be a pattern. Those one offs are fine tho
Rocket book has solid OCR. The app is free and there are templates available if you don’t want to use the reusable paper.
There’s precedent though. Alcohol and tobacco have significant restrictions on marketing material. I would argue that firearms should fall into the same category.
My impression was the same- eye roll at the “videogames cause violence” argument that’s been beaten to death, but I actually think they may have a point when it comes to marketing.
Sadly, I also think that COD is a military recruitment strategy (Boy Boy did a video breaking down the way the American recruiters use COD to capture a certain demographic) so I don’t think this lawsuit will go anywhere. Thought-provoking though.
Setting up a legal pathway for suicide helps people maintain agency and also allows for those with curable conditions to take the time to seek the help they really need thanks to the ample medical oversight.
I don’t think that it’s awesome. Having read the article, I think that she has full capacity to make the decision and am happy that she is doing so in a medically supported way. Botched suicide attempts can cause devastating disabilities. And I always hate when a family member finds the body of someone who died by suicide.
She’s run out of treatment options and is still symptomatic to the point that her quality of life is severely diminished.
It wasn’t an overnight decision and has been reviewed by multiple medical teams, over 3 and a half years. All stated in the article.
That explains why those “I ❤️ genocide” T shirts sell so poorly
How did he procure it so quickly too??
It seems like it could be a Far Side comic
Wise words from Tommy Wiseau.
Saved for the next time I’m looking to buy one! Thank you!
I have children of mortal, I don’t remember why we stopped playing it. I also have overcooked 2 (beat it) and ultimate chicken Horse (best with 4 players in my opinion).
If you like spooky games at all, the dark pictures anthology are a ton of fun and can be played couch co-op style, though only one person technically is playing at a time.
Always looking for couch co-op recommendations if you have any to share?
Hey can’t you read? It says DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL
You’re allowed a pc and a steam deck. There’s no law against both.
There are still good people, friend, anywhere you go. Especially if you do try volunteering as the other commenter suggested, and there are tons and tons of various organizations always looking for good people depending on what your interests are.
If you just want to meet people and have no specific hobbies you can try volunteering at a hospital. Even a few hours once a week or every other week might really help with the loneliness.
I’m curious on the stats. I don’t doubt the likelyhood of home v. Hospital but just the mentality being a modern shift of the hospital is where you go when you’re sick. Especially rurally it was less common (doctors did more home visits).
Gotta pay for the carbon monoxide. I would use a speaker with infrasound.
That’s so good. My cats have similar dynamics. The big one, as we call her (despite weighing about 9 lbs), allows me to clip her nails in exchange for 1 (one) kiss upon her forehead per claw.
The small one (5 lbs) needs treats and breaks but puts up with it and me.
